Long time, no blogging...

So... It has been a long time since I did any blogging. It doesn't mean that I haven't played though ;) I've been trying to learn how to play cash tables recently and haven't really been concentrating on tournaments.

Of course I have played some small tournaments to pass the time every now and then but mainly I've been learning to play 7 Card Stud and Omaha. I think that the 7 Card Stud seems to be quite well suited for me since I have managed to basically win allmost every time I've played. When I say almost I mean 33 times out of 53 times I've played so that in my books counts as 'almost' every time ;)

However Omaha seems to be quite a different story even though I think I'm starting to get a hang of it. The thing that I haven't really been able to learn so far is to take the bad beats gracefully :D And another thing that I noticed is that playing aggressive is not the best way to learn the game. Unless you count losing money as an learning experience which in a way I do...

And what about Texas you say... Well, I haven't really been playing any cash tables for a while since I've been learning Stud and Omaha but I think I will continue also playing Texas any day now. But I have to say that from all of the above games I think that Omaha might be the most interesting to play but 7 Card Stud is quite close up there on the ranks on my books. It just doesn't have as much action a Omaha but still I like the fact that you get to see so many cards and try to memorize that what is possible and what not. Try it! I recommend it to all!

What else? Yes... I participated on the Grand Casinos 25€ tuesday tournament yesterday but didn't manage to get past the second hour :( Things started nicely when I got KK on the second deal but the rest of the tourney didn't go that well. And to describe how the game went I finally was out from the tourney when I had AK vs. AT. Of course he flopped another T and I was out!

My friend however seems to be doing quite well on those tourneys since he was 3rd once again. Congrats to Jabba!

Anyway. That's a short update of my recent activities. I think I'll call it a day for now concentrate on getting some sleep for a change ;) C'Ya!
